How I work
How I work

What coaching with me actually involves
Each session is one to one, usually around fifty minutes, ideally held weekly.
Coaching is different to mentoring. A mentor draws on their own experience to guide you, often telling you what worked for them. A coach's role is different. It is to ask questions that help you find your own answers, not to hand you theirs. The work stays yours, from start to finish.
In our sessions I draw on a range of tools and frameworks, including archetypal work and mindfulness practices, depending on what is most useful to you at the time. These are not applied as a fixed formula. They are ways of helping you see yourself and your patterns more clearly.
Our first session will include a client history, which helps me get to know you and helps us uncover your coaching aim together.
What this is not
This is not therapy, and coaching is not a quick fix. Our sessions are not about transformation on a fixed timeline, because in my experience, that is not how real change works. Progress here tends to be steady rather than dramatic, and it is yours, not something I produce for you.
Between sessions
You will set your own homework, but as with anything, the time and effort you put in will shape the results you get. That said, doing nothing is sometimes the right course of action too, and this will become clearer as we work together. There is no single right way to approach this. What matters is that it fits your life, not an ideal version of it.
How long it takes
Ten sessions, usually one a week. If you want to continue beyond that, we do.
Is this for you
If you are saying to yourself, I feel empty inside. I have done everything I was supposed to do, achieved what I set out to achieve, and still feel this way.
If life is feeling like a bit much right now, as if you have had to be superwoman for far too long, and you are starting to feel your edges fraying.
If you are open to stepping into different ways of living, leading, and receiving.
Then the work we would do together is for you.
